Bubby's new rubber duckie!

Bubby is one year old! He had a big BBQ at Golden Gardens with lots of friends and family. This kid stayed up and in a good mood all day without a nap! He enjoyed his cake, hot dogs and fruit.Bubby didn't love the potato salad since his momma makes it a bit spicy (oops). All in all, it was a fantastic first birthday!

Bubby is already taking things apart. Today, it is the recliner.

OK, so Bubby will eat anything. Today, he had his first bit of cottage cheese. It is great fun to watch him try new foods. First he smells it, then a little lick. Next he put just one curd into his mouth, followed by the whole spoonful. Pretty soon, the spoon was gone and he was elbow deep in the cottage cheese!

Bubby will really eat anything. If you give him a red onion, he will suck on it for an hour. He enjoys soy sauce on his chicken. I gave him left overs of a chicken burrito with sauteed peppers, onions and cilantro and he did a little happy dance! He actually picked out the cilantro and ate it separately.
